The Protector is an unarmed special ship which coats all allied units with a huge shield. The hostile fire can penetrate this shield in most cases but the attack is still weakened.
The Protector is equipped with a multitude of energy generators. A crew of 20 operates this 125 m vessel and maintains optimum shield quality for all members of the fleet. A transmitter beam serves to measure and reinforce allied shields.
